This site tends to be more like (link) Match.com in the sense that users are not really looking for casual flings or hook up, but rather are seeking long-term relationships. Since it’s inception in 2002, Black People Meet has provided single African-Americans a place to meet online. Although, it is not required to be black to join the site, as you browse profiles you will notice people of other races on the site.
